I am writing to thank you for your demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for Northwest Indiana Lighthouse Charter Schools (NWILCS), its mission, and its students. While we greatly appreciate your passion and believe it undoubtedly helps to propel our mission, we are keenly aware of the proliferation of law enforcement warnings about individuals who, given the opportunity, would exploit that passion for their own selfish purposes. Because of the prospect for exploitation, any funding campaign conducted by our organization is closely scrutinized and endeavors to follow best practices. This letter is intended to clarify the fundraising process and procedures of NWILCS.
All official fundraising efforts from our organization will come directly from our schools and/or district offices, after all proper clearances and assurances have been obtained. Any related correspondence that you receive will contain our official logo depicted above. At no time will our organization ever request funds from a potential donor to be payable directly to or endorsed in the name of a staff member or sanction such a practice. Once again, we thank you for your commitment to and support for our scholars and hope that you will continue to seek productive ways to engage with us.
