Good Evening Lighthouse Families,
Testing season is upon at the Primary Campus. Our third graders did an amazing job using their GRIT and Determination on the ILEARN test this week. We will begin NWEA and mClass testing on May 8.
We will have our first all school field trip on Thursday, April 27. We were invited to see the Princess and the Frog at our high school located at 725 Clark Rd., Gary, IN. Due to this being an all school field trip, we will not need chaperones for this trip because our entire staff will be going. In order for your child to go, we must have a signed permission slip on file. Permission slips were sent home yesterday and are due back no later than Tuesday, April 25.
Tuesday, April 24 is our Family Picture event. Norman Turner Photography will be at the school from 5:00-6:30 to take family pictures. Picture prices were sent home last week and more will be available the night of the event.
The month of May is a very busy month. We have a lot of different trips and events planned for our scholars. Keep an eye on ClassDojo for announcements and updates.
